Over the last year I’ve been working on a new project that has cost me a ton of money AND who knows how many hours of time with only one thing, one very worthy objective in mind: You and Your Success.
I’m no stranger to internet marketing. I’ve seen trends come and have seen them go. And now and then something comes along that is no longer a trend. It’s a solid business strategy – and Article Marketing has become that type of a strategy.
We all know that you have to create good new content and submit articles to directories and we do this work, and it is work, because we know that submitting those articles will bring us the thing we cherish: back links.
With those back links, and with people distributing our articles around the web, we get search engine love. And the more our article gets distributed the more link love we get.
So the article directories are kind of like our partners – we do our part and create content to submit and the article directories do their part and give us a home for all of that great content we create.
Sounds like a fair trade right? After all, the traffic we get back from submitting those articles makes us money. And the ads they place on their article sites makes them money. So everyone wins, right?
Well, not exactly. Yes it’s true you get a link back, and it’s true your article MIGHT get picked up and distributed on a lot of sites. In the meantime people all over the world are searching for your content and who’s getting paid for it? Not you.
So, you see this is why at the beginning I said I’ve been thinking about you. I’ve been thinking about you and how we can come up with a better way, a way in which everyone really does win.
